About Me

Hi, I’m Renae but my favourite calls me “Mama"!

Welcome to Boxed in the Bush

I’m a pasta lover, coffee addict and self-confessed crazy plant lady.

Firstly, I just want to say “thank you” for popping in to check out our store - I’m giving you a virtual hi-five right now!
My MissTen-going-on-Thirteen and I call the beautiful Lockyer Valley in Queensland “home” and when I’m not reading, working on one of the 16 million different craft projects I have on-the-go or building cubby houses from sheets, I’m spending time in our new handmade Studio for The Windmill Collective or travelling through Outback Queensland for work with the bestie in tow.

Just like outgoing business owner Meredith, I'm a cheerleader for rural women, loving all things handmade and supporting our rural makers/creatives/fellow side hustlers.

Boxed in the Bush was born from Meredith's need to support rural, regional and remote makers Australia-wide, and allow our customers to meet artisans that they may otherwise never interact with. I have since recently taken over the business in 2022 and look to bring as much passion and energy to the business as Meredith did.

As a 2020 Product of the Year Finalist with Supporting Small Business Australia (SSBAU), Boxed in the Bush is proud to offer services in corporate gifting, individual gifting and long-term, subscription-based gifting.

Our subscription-based gifting service means that you never have to worry about finding the ‘perfect’ gift again - for yourself, or others. We make it easy by delivering handcrafted products right to your doorstep every quarter, all packaged up in a gorgeous gift box.

Boxed in the Bush is our way of making your life a little easier, and supporting rural makers along the way. We want you to have something to look forward to - you deserve it.

Thank you for visiting Boxed in the Bush and supporting rural women.

With love,

Renae
